Enjoy the true African bush and Kruger park experience with the visit of impala, waterbuck, warthogs, an abundance of birdlife and even occasionally an elephant in the garden. Have a sundowner on your own terrace enjoying the mezmorizing sunset with the sound of hyena at the background; a magical experience. Welcome to Bushvilla Umoja Kruger – wildlife without fences.
This magnificent 6-person bushvilla with 3 bedrooms and a private splash pool is situated on Silonque Nature Reserve, neighouring the Kruger park and Phalaborwa; at 20 minutes from the Kruger park entrance and at 80 km from Hoedspruit with an airport (daily flights to/from Johannesburg and Cape Town).
Phalaborwa (“town of two summers”) offers year round sunny weather with hot summers (nov/jan) and dry sunny winters (june/aug) with mild temperatures and cool nights. The town has multiple restaurants, shops and supermarkets and, contrary to Hoedspruit, has a direct entrance to the Kruger park.
We gladly assist in booking a (private/joined) Kruger park safari, a boatsafari on the Olifantsriver, a Kruger Bushbraai (departs from 6 persons) or a walking safari.
The villa is also conveniently located for a self drive daytrip along the the beautiful Panorama route (Bourke’s Luck), the Magoebaskloof/Tzaneen (ziplining, Debengenifalls) or Hoedspruit (multiple wildlife sanctuaries, boatcruise on the Blyde river, Nyani Cultural Village).
The ideal destination to visit some of South Africa’s highlights from one location or for a shorter stop during your trip. You can book from 1 night but we recommend a minimum 2 night-stay.
Enjoy the added benefits and comfort of a home but with hotel ammenities such as towels, linen, toiletries, weekly cleaning, laundry service (paid – no washing machine in the house) and a ready meal a/o breakfast pack in the fridge upon arrival.
As guest of Umoja you have access to an additional residential pool.
During your stay you can reach us 24/7 by phone and our local housemanager lives around the corner.
Our goal not to just offer our guests a nice holiday home but a unique holiday experience, both at Umoja as on the rest of your trip with advice and assistance.
